Do you really need a passport? Can't you just get residency, which would give you‌ travel rights to Schengen countries?
And anyway, all countries should allow you to naturalize after‍ a certain number of years.
Aren't there digital nomad or entrepreneur visas in a number of EU countries?

It's a residence permit , a non-lucrative‍ visa , and you don't even have to live there. A lot of my friends just got it. It's super easy and affordable. Another option is Romania, there are some⁤ shady ways through Moldova guys , more expensive and risky.

As I mentioned, many of my friends have‍ chosen this path. I'm not a lawyer, so if you have any doubts, you should contact one. The main idea is that you're receiving income from abroad and not working⁤ in Spain, it was designed for retirees.

Your friends are paying taxes to Spain? How much?
How much time do they spend there?
How many times they renewed their NLV?

My friends‍ pay taxes in Russia, live in Russia, and run their businesses there.

It has been renewed once.

But for now, you need two Russian passports , one to enter the country and the‌ other to leave. This is how the system currently works. Once a unified biometric system‍ is implemented, it might be necessary to look for other options.

I explained how people are living abroad while their documents say they’re‍ in Spain. Anyway, I don’t think there’s any point in continuing this.

This! She could setup a‍ company, employ herself and get residency in many countries and be able to travel the Schengen area just with her EU ID card/Residence permit.

I don’t think messing with the two-passport trick is a good idea. It might work, but‌ it’s shady and could backfire. You can get the non-lucrativa visa on your own. The‍ process is pretty simple, just look it up and do it the right way.
