Residence and tax help

Particulars:
Non Eu, non US Western citizenship.
Residence in a high tax CRS country.
LONG term crypto holder, 7 figure. But no SoF.

I'm all ears for any possible options to cash out. Im flexible in terms of preferences. There is no possible way I can prove SoF as this dates back many years ago. I've spent many years battling health issues and life disasters so I haven't been able to work on some kind of plan until now.

Im currently in the process of getting rid of some of my assets and accounts to eventually prove tax non residence to my home country and wish to fully commit to this some day - I have little attachments to where I am and almost no family left.

Any recommendations on direction or consult services?

Is there no SoF requirement when increasing company capital for the purpose of benefiting from NID?

The SoF requirement has no dirext nexus to obtaining the NID. It is a stand alone requirement under AML obligations. Whats your question really?

I had heard of crypto "washing" through Cyprus company by increasing capital with crypto, registering profit and paying reduced taxes through NID and distributing as dividends (or not), but always wondered how that solved the SoF issue for the crypto. So my wondering was the question.

Yes, it's a known strategy, injecting crypto as capital into a Cyprus company, using NID to reduce tax, and optionally paying dividends.

However, it doesn't solve the source of funds (SoF) issue; you'd still need to prove the origin of the crypto.

This structure is more about tax efficiency, not SoF laundering
