Question about amazon FBA USA

Hi I work with European Union manufacturing company and we are looking to start selling‌ on amazon FBA USA, I have a question if someone is knowledgeable about the topic‍
Do we need to form USA LLC for this purpose or can we operate as⁠ our EU entity? USA LLC is mandatory to collect sales tax but I read that⁤ amazon can collect it on behalf of sellers, does anyone know if it's true?

You can register your EU company as a foreign corporation in the US. Better to‌ seek advice from a U.S. tax advisor though.
