Payment Processors & Merchant Accounts Explained – What To Expect When Signing Up

Hello,

I have an LLC in the US and I am a Spanish resident. I‌ have bank accounts in American and European banks associated with the LLC. There is a‍ payment processor that is outside the US, that a US company accepts me and can⁠ make card payments, associated with my European bank. Until now I used Stripe, but I'm⁤ not interested, because all my payments come from outside the USA, but since Stripe pays⁣ me, they are considered in the Country, and with the new regulations, I should pay⁢ taxes to the IRS.

you would be better off︀ with processors outside the US,whats pertinent to most US processors, would be citizenship of director..a︁ highly determinant factor

 with regards Directors of the entity,entity certs,Biz Banking, current location,proof of address,website,︂ methods of Integration,accepted payments methods etc.

all pertinent during the onboarding stages, moreso not leaving︃ out currency payments of choice.as processors prefer to onboard with currency of the processors jurisdiction...︄

processors providing multi currency options would at least prefer and readily onboard with scenarios of︅ :

US Processor/US Entity/US Bank
UK-EU Processor/UK-EU entity/UK-EU Bank
in that order...

a jumbled up︆ mix with different aspects as you indicated within the thread, at some points leads to︇ requests, scrutiny, extra docs requests, Taxes, Levies,proof of substance, residence permits etc...

processors outside the︈ US, would prefer entities and banking outside the US over US based Entities and Banks...And︉ Vice Versa..

Register a UK LTD and find︀ some of the major payment processors in Europe like WorldPay, it's much easier to get︁ settled.

Another option that they mention to me is to fill out‌ the W8 form justifying that all those payments made to Stripe are from outside the‍ US. What do you think of this idea?
