The LLC can even be inactive and from any year 2015 or prior

lol impossible. Why on earth would someone sell you a shelf LLC for 1k when‌ over the years the government fees are higher??

As mentioned, for my use case I need an LLC that was incorporated prior to 2016,‍ so incorporating a new one won't suffice.

Liabilities or the LLC’s status (active or dissolved) don't matter in‍ this case.

But do you actually need to company or can you just use the US company‌ docs from them?

that was my question as well. cause‍ by owning the LLC you mean to use your UBO or just the Articles of⁠ Incorporation?
