It all started with Trump's joke “Where did you get that tan?” the US president asked. “I want to get a tan like that.”
Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of Germany, has spent €12,500 (£10,800) on make-up and hairstyling in his first three months in office.

this is the head we're talking about:

But he's not the only one:
Katherina Reiche, Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, is understood to have taken a make-up artist with her to Washington in June, with €8,324 of the beauty budget spent on the stylist’s travel.
Also spent €19,264.76 for cosmetic and hairstyling services between May and August this year.

Annalena Baerbock, the former foreign minister, was found to have spent €137,000 on a personal stylist to accompany her on 76 overseas visits.
€33,000 spent by the finance ministry, led by Lars Klingbeil, the leader of the Social Democratic Party, on photographers.

yet "you" continue to give your hard earn money to these guys...
I know of presidents of western world democratic republics that flew their dog daily on the presidential Airbus... fly logs were top-secret so nobody knew officially 😀
so these are just small expenses in the grand scheme of things, but you get a taste of how much these western democracies are really rotten to the core once you remove the clean facade.

Gunnar Beck, a former AfD MEP in Brussels, told The Telegraph: “There seems few, if any limits, on how much money top German politicos are allowed to spend on personal hairstyling and make-up.
