I have a friend with a New Zealand Offshore Financial Service license and they are seeking banking. I have the corporation information as well as the details of what they do which is basically accept 3rd party funds.

Would the bank we open do this sort of business? Looking at banking anywhere in the world?

When did this guy obtained the license for his Financial service company in NZ? The‌ year of incorporation and obtaining the license would be of interest to know here.

The license is aprox 5 years old, never had a issue with the license towards‌ offshore banking before. Now after that many years it seems the problems get started, no‍ bank of which we contacted want their business!

So is it before the changes they made in NZ or after? There was a‌ lot of fraud going on with these NZ financial service license operations for some years‍ ago!

It seems it is not possible to find any sample of a New Zealand license,‌ for financial services. That's a little bit scary since so many entities in this sector‍ are operating from NZ!

I found one from the USA which may be much more trust worthy than NZ

And then I found one from the Australian Financial services⁤ licensensing authority

Only for your interest!!

If your friends business holds a valid license he should be able to apply for‌ a bank account with one of the many offshore banks around. Why don't you try‍ some of the banks in Cyprus or Mauritius?

Do you believe they will accept companies with a doubtful license?

Thats a valid question and I believe I will suggest this to him. Thanks. Do you know if the⁤ banks in Mauritius accept Financial Service licensed companies?

Why do you say doubtful ? This is a valid Financial Service license!
