I haven't faced issues with HK transfers besides the one or the other odd Eudssr bank hassling for more info about transfer (self︀ transfer). But its no biggie.
Other parts (except Latin America for which I cannot comment︁ on) has been smooth.
Personally, Id conclude such a permit having some value with the︂ caveat of an eventual war of the big dogs, which sadly cant be ruled out︃ but has yet to be seen on how it will eventually unfold should it materialize.︄
