French introduce world wide taxes specifically targeting Monaco French residents

French nationals residing in Monaco are already subject to French income tax on worldwide income‌ (French-Monegasque bilateral convention of 18 May 1963) .
So I don't see how it would‍ affect French Monaco residents .
It's probably more targeted towards UAE , Caribbeans etc..

While this amendment has been discussed in special finance commission, the amendment has been rejected‌ and won’t be included in the 2025 French budget law to be discussed at the‍ parliament starting Monday.
