Do you followed your own route and registered the car in some EU country? I know Germany is easy to register a car on a friends address if you have someone there and just drive around with it.

You can also rent some sort of house (trash) and get registered there, buyt the car and register the car on this address, works well for me the last 4 years. I don't live in Germany any longer nor am I tax residence there.

Haven’t done anything yet, considering the Germany route but don’t have a friend living there. I will have to figure something out

Where you able to get insurance? If yes, what company? reading mixed opinions online

You can't read about it online, yes I have a german insurance, TüV and everything else to drive the car legally. I have to say it is a new car I bought at a BMW store.
