Fast account opening in Cyprus anyone knows how long it takes?

In the past it took only a few days or 4 now I read it takes much longer, do you actually know how long it takes to open an account? What bank is the fastest and best to open with?

Takes aprox 7 business days at the moment. Have a friend who is in the‌ process to get an account opened, he got informed that there are delays at the‍ moment and things take some more time than usual.

Yes at the moment it takes some more time because of a huge workload... applications‌ etc. will be processed as fast as possible.

We got allocation letter yesterday and applied for 3 days ago, was very fast I‌ think! I read somewhere else on the forum some took 4 and 5 weeks!

Quick update, after sending the acknowledgement letter to the bank everything is working just fine.‌ This is really a good service provided!

i think you should go with banks which have trust rather then who take less‌ time to open.
I would go with trusted bank which take 10 days to open‍ rather then 2 days opening bank account time which is not having trust
