agreed but‌ we shouldn't rely on the device to be indestructible - it's an electronic device after‍ all...
average thief is after the phones 😉 I need something he won't even notice but⁤ will remain well usable

It is/was ( I looked at it‍ 3 years or so ago ) a phone , If I recall correctly they were using some cheap MediaTek soc . It still had functioning WIFI module , it was⁤ just blocked in Android . (found a article confirming it : https://www.ledger.com/blog/ellipal-security)
Do you⁣ know if they are using a secure element chip?

But what about the company behind this hardware wallet, how long have they been on‌ the market and do they have the financial stability to remain in the market so‍ that you don't end up with a wallet that soon won't receive updates or other support?

Did you manage to transfer your coins to another device before your⁤ Ledger Blue became completely unusable? And why are you waiting for their response instead of⁣ simply discarding it and using the new devices you already have?
