Cyprus bank account w. Debit or credit card Visa please help?

Hi,


I need a Cyprus bank account with Visa debit or credit card, can you you please explain if that is possible?


Also preferable is a credit card but if not possible a debit card will do it as well, it MUST be a Visa card.

I figured out that to get credit card with Cyprus bank I need to deposit‌ 3 times amount of credit limit. I don't need that with Rietumu Bank they say.‍

But why do you need Cyprus bank account?If you want to make a Transaction then‌ you can contact local guy.

Some bank allow visa and some not. It depends from bank to bank. in which‌ bank you would like to open an account? then i can only give you advice‍

That's what an Offshore‍ banking is for. Offshore bank users avoid their local banks so that they would benefit⁠ on tax haven countries. This is one of the most important reasons why they conduct⁤ business on those tax haven countries instead of doing it on their own countries.

Have you found a bank yet that offers a VISA for you needs? In my‌ country most bank gives VISA credit card or MasterCard and nothing else. I believe you‍ can avail them easily

I sort it all out with Piraeus Bank Cyprus.. they had it all and I'm‌ still a customer there.

It's just to store money. Is it in USD or cyprus dollar?

Piraeus bank is great but for new accounts they require bankers reference letter from current‌ bank and a detailed business description!

For banking I actually prefer HSBC or DBS or some famous bank. Piraeus bank doesn't‌ seem to be a very big bank at all.

All banks in Cyprus can handle USD, EUR, GBP and many other currencies!

Ban of Cyprus and almost any bank in Cyprus⁤ allow you to apply for a Debit Card that can be used to withdraw Money⁣ in the ATM's Worldwide.
