Guys, greetings!

It's time to deal with US banks, but
I have to clear just‌ one point, TAXES
If you are inside US, you have to know, or
It will‍ be extremely easy for you to clarify

Cayman comp. trades US equities via US broker, &
Will have corp. account in US bank

Questions, will the obligation to pay:
- corporate tax arise or not?
- dividend tax arise or not?
- if so, how⁤ much?

If your Cayman company is trading US equities through a US broker and holding a‌ US bank account, the main exposure is withholding tax on dividends (30% unless reduced by‍ treaty).

Corporate income tax generally doesn’t apply if the company has no US trade or business, but if the IRS deems you “effectively connected,” then you’re in the net.

Have you checked whether your broker applies withholding automatically, and if you’ve considered whether any tax⁤ treaty could lower that rate?

Houdini, greetings!

Yes, my registered⁢ office already've confirmed 0-Corp.tax, but
They don't precisely know regarding Div.tax

I'm not US-res and︀ live in EU with Caribbean passport, as papuas)))
Frankly, I don't understand, why even Div.tax︁ should arise on US side

Do you know something about?
