Best shopping software for our e-business what to do?

We have aprox 100 products we want to sell on Internet and for that purpose we need a shopping software which is easy to install and may cost little to nothing (free ware would be great) - do you have any suggestions to what software may be best? What hosting platform and plan are we looking at?

One solution is OSCommerce another may be Joomla with a shopping cart plugin.

I read about Magento shop software is good, do you know about it?

MAgento is great but you will pay for license in order to use it! You‌ may do some research on all the many scripts available for shopping functionality on your‍ website.

OSCommerce is already very dated,

Magento needs huge performance and is very expensive to set‌ up and keep running.

You should consider Prestashop, Zencart or Opencart.

Since you have small business I suggest you try Shopify. It lets you choose template‌ and has Google Analytics integrated so you can track visitors behavior. It is only 29$‍ per month.

Thank you all for the good suggestions, I tried OSCommerce and Magento, got some help‌ from freelance software developper to install and setup the shopping software. Both works fine but‍ decided to go with the free OSCommerce for now.

Hi buka, are you still using OSC or do you found some other software which‌ is easier to install and use ?
