Best Offshore Setup to Avoid Taxes While Living in Sweden?

No, absolutely⁤ not. This is all based on OP leaving that hell hole. But too answer your⁣ question, no you can not. They tax you on everything.

Don't really know that much about the‌ taxation in Poland but hard to imagine it's worse than Sweden. I know they have‍ some nice incentives such as lump-sum tax on foreign income for example.
Other than that Poland is an amazing country that I absolutely love visiting and spending time in, amazing⁤ people, very friendly and hospitable and a country where I feel truly safe walking the⁣ streets. In fact I wouldn't think twice about letting me GF walk home alone after⁢ a nights out.
It's also very affordable and you can have a really high quality︀ life there. They also have great values if you ask me, were family still is︁ very important and they respect traditional values.

OP let us know what decission you took and if you stay in Sweden and‌ pay your taxes as everyone else or if you move out and find a better‍ place for your self and your family.

Register US LLC company in name of person in tax heaven. Pay him 200 USD‌ per month. Don't get him access to bank accounts. Send profits from his account as‍ gift. Sweden doesn't have gift tax. You are tax free.

From his account? u mean to his account?

Either way, very risky and not a good idea at all.⁤

Well it's clearly tax evasion, pretty‍ big downside if caught. And there is also the risk of this person taking the money in LLC accounts and disappearing.

But I guess for people that already are career⁤ criminals, and risk prison anyway for way worse stuff, something like this can make sense.⁣

The sad thing is if OP was just rich, rather than a productive and contributing‌ member of society, then Sweden would only charge him 30% flat on his passive income.‍ But alas he's doing things and supporting himself!

I would invest in taking gf on a few long holidays to Estonia and Georgia 🙂

It is not tax evasion. You don't have formal relation with this company. It is not under your name.⁤ You get a gift from your friend who is owner of this company. Not very⁣ big risk that he will steal your money if you don't invest in assets under⁢ this company and you use this company only to operational activites. Few times per year︀ you get all profits as gifts. You have clean papers.

LLC bank account -> private bank‍ account of this guy in tax heaven -> your bank account in Sweden. You only have access to bank accounts of LLC and private bank accounts registered under name of⁤ this guy.

You can be in shock how many people make it even‌ in USA where donor pays gift tax not recipient.

What absolutely no? Almost all ways‌ to avoid paying taxes are not legal in 100%. Only one legal way is to‍ move to tax heaven like Vanuau, Bahrain or Cayman Islands and manage company from this place. If you manage foreign company from Sweden you have permanent establishment risk. Additionally If⁤ you take dividend from foreign company you need to pay high personal tax. The same⁣ scenario if you move to territorial country you have all time permanent establishment risk. Dividend⁢ can be tax free. If he wants to live in Sweden and he doesn't want︀ pay any taxes this is probably one and the best method.

> your bank account in Sweden

You can't︁ just have sudden unexplained wealth in a Scandinavian country. This is incredibly naive, and you︂ shouldn't be suggesting this to someone. It might work for a foreign resident of a︃ lax country (which may well include the USA!), but that's because the authorities don't care.︄ The Swedish authorities will care.

Perhaps if he left the money offshore in a non-CRS︅ country (or under a second passport) he'd go undiscovered. But not receiving money to a︆ Swedish bank account that he then lives off. The tax authorities are entitled to just︇ assume it is income. *He* has to prove it is untaxed.

There's nothing wrong with︈ living in the Caymans 😎

You don't understand. LLC company owned in papers by foreign person in tax︁ heaven. This guy from Sweden receives gift from private account of this guy in tax︂ heaven. Gifts are not taxed in Sweden.

What you're asking for simply doesn't exist. As someone suggested, using nominees might be the‌ only solution; however, that approach is not without risk. Since the level of risk is‍ aligned with the sums you intend to move, you need to understand the potential consequences under Swedish law if you were to be caught. In short, you must evaluate the⁤ risk-reward ratio and determine if it's in your favor.

Regarding gifts, I would avoid that⁣ strategy. It's not a realistic solution. A better approach would be to pay a certain⁢ amount of tax to stay under the radar.

The smartest move is to avoid ending up in the spotlight altogether, and I think‌ you’re already aware of that.

At the same time, there have been quite a few‍ solid replies in this thread that you could take into account and maybe build a plan from.

I got the message if you read my previous posts!

thank you, I agree.

Just got back from a 4-day trip to Montenegro and I have to say, it really does feel like an attractive place for expats. I⁤ spent most of my time in the capital, Podgorica, just trying to get a real⁣ sense of the vibe.

Ate at a few local spots, walked through the city to⁢ see how day to day life feels, and honestly came away with a pretty good︀ impression.

It’s got that mix of laid back pace and developing infrastructure that makes you︁ think it could be a solid base.

Anyone here actually living there long term or︂ have more insight into what life is like beyond just a short visit?
