IMO traffic exchange sites don't give good results. You'll get the hits but you won't‌ get clickthroughs. And nobody's gonna be reading you content.

The best way is by adding‍ backlinks to your site by commenting in other blogs, forum posting, and of course, getting⁠ your site listed in adwords.
