Anyone with experience with LianLian Global, Thunes, XTransfer, Welab?

I heard from my network of these EMIs/crossborder/merchant payment platforms growing massively in Asia. I have heard of others (Gcash in the Philippines, Flip in Indonesia) but more localized and I'm not sure they are really targeting global customers.

Has anyone used/heard of these companies before? Anyhow, I'm happy to provide these names to other OCT members who could benefit from additional EMI options to consider.

I have a good connection with LianLian Global and XTransfer. Their headquarters are based in‌ China, and they have licenses globally.

They prefer onboarding companies that engage in international physical‍ trade.
For example, timber import and export, small commodity trade (search for Yiwu, China) and⁠ electronics import and export.
Sometimes, they also take on high-risk clients, such as those with⁤ Turkish residency.

Welab Bank is a licensed Virtual Bank in Hong Kong, just like N26⁣ in Europe.
But As what I know, they only onboarding Hong Kong or mainland, China⁢ individual residents

I have some FI partners use Thunes to process international transfers, but I︀ don't have direct experience.

From what I recall, similar to LianLian are PingPong, Panpay and Sunrate – all China‌ based EMIs, I think. Yet I possess no detailed information. Perhaps @linusAG might be able‍ to comment more...
