I have a company, which was started during Covid period, in a different country than my native one, it was easier, faster and cheaper than my own country at the time, thus it made sense. The company has had good activity and I have now moved all of the activities from that company to new companies in my native country, for better management of them.

My question is now.
I have a company in this particular European country, which basically will be inactive in terms of business, but has had past activities and year report submissions etc. it’s VAT registered and fully setup for import/export as well.

Is there any value in such a company? And if so, how much? And where to sell it?

I see many people talking about shelf companies and empty companies and their value of being new companies with potential, but here it is an inactive company with previous history.

As mentioned, the company is located in a European country, has been active with business up till lately, has paid taxes and everything properly, with normal accounting and hasn’t been used for any illicit purposes, purely import, export and local sales of premium items. There is also no debt and no loan has ever been taken, purely bootstrapped.

Just to clarify, this isn’t an attempt at trying to make a sales thread. I am looking for advice and it is something that wouldn’t happen right now. More to know what my options are and if there are other options than just closing the company.
