CeFi vs DeFi risks differ. At this point of time I don't see one much safer than the other.
Personally, I'd feel safer letting 6+ figures on a top CeFi regulated legacy platform than any DeFi protocol.
This is how it works, crypto funds target 70-100% return on capital, most only get to 30-50% and save the 100% for HFT, offering 10% staking is one of the most ridiculous wastes of capital in existence unless you have $millions, like Changelly who hold millions in exchanges for months under KYC/AML AML and stake it, yes aave or compound but they really are last resort options.
